Cincinnati Children’s began offering the Moderna Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine on October 9 to current patients during scheduled specialty visits (Burnet and Liberty only). The vaccine is available by request or at clinical recommendation. We don’t expect Medicaid coverage issues; if they occur, CCHMC will cover the cost. Commercially insured patients may be billed if their plan excludes benefits. We are not hosting vaccine clinics for non-CCHMC patients and will update you if plans change.
